Xinxiang vs Zhengdong in Henan Province

The recent article in the Wall Street Journal about Xinxiang on Oct. 4th is misleading – as are so many articles about China’s new cities.  Xinxiang is right next to Zhengdon, a massive new city (district) that is perhaps China’s most successful new city.
