TST Metric Modules
THINKSheet is a semantics-driven platform for professionals. Our TST Metric Modules are one of our most important breathroughs for creating THINKSheet models with the greatest analytical and communications power. The QL Metric modules consist of a set of non-numerical comparative analysis language for measuring decision-options, such as stocks, bonds, real estate properties, and commodities one metric at a time. The modules consist of the language choices for the user to input the judgments and an algorithm for user assign numerical values to them from best to worst. ProLingua and Synthesis Algorithms are two of our most important algorithmic breakthroughs for creating
The Language of the Market
The language of the market is a THINKSheet term for the profession-specific language professionals use to distill complex issues into an easy-to-understand story.
The Ranking Methods model the most effective ways professionals communicate. Our Ranking Methods library of algorithms includes 10 generic Ranking Methods that you can adapt in a virtually infinite number of ways plus a library of pre-built metrics and algorithms that you can use copy into your models and use immediately.
The Ranking Methods enable you to communicate and rank your QL comparisons in your specialized real estate language and simultaneously assign values to them – one metric as a time. The algorithms simulate the most effective language you use when comparing QL factors in speech and writing in the ordinary course of business. These linguistic techniques include straight analysis, such as lists, ranges and true/false statements, and figures of speech, such as metaphors, acronyms, deal killers and personification.
TST Model Synthesis
The Synthesis Methods then combine the language and scores into a coherent whole and generate your answers, usually a ranking of the decisions options by score and/or price.
Our Synthesis Methods automatically synthesize your QL judgments and QT data for all of the metrics, present them as a logical whole and highlight the positives, negatives and interconnections among the judgments.
You can thus communicate your reasoning as an easy-to-understand story, one of the most effective ways you communicate. The Synthesis Algorithms convert your your story into a visual story that is far easier to understand than presenting it solely verbally or in a written report.
The 1PAGER is THINKSheet’s signature output is– a visual synthesis of the most important elements of your thought process in the language of the market on one dynamic page. The 1PAGER (1) ranks your decision options from best to worst using THINKSheet’s proprietary scoring algorithms and (2) enables your team to play “what if” at high speed – while always focusing on what’s most important – and to see the results INSTANTLY. This enables your team to collaborate with maximum productivity, thus increasing the probability that your decisions will be the best ones.
Picture Your Thought Process
Picture Your Thought Process is what you use THINKSheet to do.
THINKSheetTM has multiple meanings. THINKSheet is a software platform for developing THINKSheet models, or simply THINKSheets, that can quantify both QL&QT factors communicated in the most meaningful way. The models enable you to picture your best thought process by presenting it in a visual format that organizes complex information as simply as its structure allows. You can have as many THINKSheets as you find useful.
THINKSheets are semantics-driven models designed to communicate the greatest meaning in the fewest words. The language of the market is our term for the rich language that professionals use in speech and writing to distill complex issues into easy-to-understand stories. The art of story-telling, critical to leveraging THINKSheet, is captured in Warren Buffett’s advice to:
“make the story short & make it sing!”
The 1PAGER is THINKSheet’s signature output. It is a visual synthesis of the most important elements of your thought process on one dynamic page at the point of decision. The 1PAGER generally (1) ranks your decision options from best to worst by using THINKSheet’s proprietary scoring algorithms, and (2) enables your team to play “what if” at high speed – while always focusing on what’s most important – and to see the results INSTANTLY. This allows your team to collaborate with maximum productivity, increasing the probability that your decisions will be the best ones.
What is Meeting Language?
Meeting Language is a sub-set that refers to the language you use during meetings. This reinforces one of the most valuable uses of THINKSheet which is to use it to play what if at high speed in meetings at the point of decision.
